The Three Musketeers
A trio of swashbuckling swordsmen—melancholy Athos, gigantic Porthos, and quick-witted Aramis—who, with their comrade D'Artagnan, play central roles in a series of famous historical romances by the French novelist Alexandre Dumas (1802-1870).
