Why Black Lightning and not Justice League of America is used as a canonical source is beyond me and is faulty reasoning. Superman's presence in JLA wherein Earth-1/2 mentioned in 1964!!! --Super Monkey of Earth-2

Black Lightning is a canonical source becase after much discussion and debate over on the Supermanica forum, it was voted in. We don't use the 1960s date for Earth-2, because it comes from JLA - which is not one of the canonical sources. There is currently discussion over whether or not JLA should be added - see the forum for more info. If you think it should be added, feel free to participate in the discussion. But right now, it's not one of the sources so we don't use any data from it. --Macduff 23:09, 19 December 2006 (EST)
