A cunning renegade scientist headquartered in a a hidden laboratory located in a hide-out cave concealed by lead-ore rock to protect it from the penetrating gaze of Superman's X-ray vision, who having come upon some space-drift wreckage from the exploded planet of Krypton containing a supply of Kryptium, Krypton's strongest metal, fashions the virtually indestructible super-metal into a ingenious robot in the form of an armored knight and sends it forth to annihilate Superman. Superman demolishes the awesome Kryptium robot and apprehends its creator (Act No. 329/1, Oct 1965: "The Ultimate Enemy!"). (TGSB)
