A knowledgeable, zealous young man whose lifelong dream has been to become a G-man (short for Government Man, most often of high rank within the Federal Bureau of Investigation (F.B.I.)). Rejected by the F.B.I., however, because of his claustrophobia, acrophobia, and color blindness, Jones is ultimately hired by the F.B.I. as a teacher of new recruits, thanks to the intervention of Superman (S No. 76/2, May/Jun 1952: "The Misfit Manhunter!").
