An attorney for the underworld who is ordered out of town by Superman in May-June 1942. Shortly after Emerson has posted bond for some jewelry-store bandits apprehended by Superman, Superman waylays the attorney's automobile, hurls Emerson repeatedly through the air until he confesses that he is being retained by "the leading underworld mobs," and then orders Emerson to leave Metropolis and never return (S No. 16/2).
