The inventor of “the Rinton reverse time ray,” a device for time travel which, activated inadvertently in January-February 1947 in the office of the Daily Planet accidentally transports both Clark Kent and Lois Lane to early-seventeenth-century London in the time of William Shakespeare (S No. 44/3: “Shakespeare’s Ghost Writer!”) (TGSB).
