Lucy Regent: The Original Supergirl!
An exiled queen from the Central American nation of Borgonia, who resides in Smallville for a time, and a girl with tremendous athletic and acrobatic abilities, earning her the informal name of '"Supergirl", the first time that name is mentioned in Superman's entire career (SB No. 5, Nov/Dec 1949: "Superboy Meets Supergirl!"). Lucy eventually takes on her role as the rightful ruler of her country after criminal opposition is eliminated.
