A club in England whose members, the descendants of famous medieval knights, have maintained their ancestors’ chivalric traditions, including the wearing of armor and the holding of jousting tournaments, for over 1,000 years.
When a fire-breathing dragon, actually a prehistoric monster “trapped in an iceberg and released by a freak thawâ€, is sighted in the countryside, the members of the Round Table Club form an expedition to find it, but it is Superman who battles the creature both in the English countryside and in London until it finally collapses and dies on its own.
"...[t]he monster couldn’t survive in our atmosphere!†thinks Superman. “Even its flaming breath was caused by its faulty oxidation of carbon dioxide in the air! There is much more carbon dioxide in our atmosphere than there was in primitive times!†(S No. 86/1, Jan 1954: “The Dragon from King Arthur’s Court!â€).
