John Parrone
A vicious racketeer, posing as an investment counselor, who is in reality the leader of a gang of "drug-crazed bandits" whose slavish dependance on hard drugs enables Parrone to keep them securely under his thumb. Parrone is in league with William Brokenshire, "a corrupt practitioner of law" who always manages to invoke legal technicalities to prevent Parrone from being convicted of his crimes, but Superman apprehends both men on a murder charge in January-February 1941 (S No. 8/4).
