Chlorophyll Kid
Ral Benem from Mardru is Chlorophyll Kid of the Legion of Substitute Heroes. When very young, Ral was exposed to a vat of plant growing medium and gained the ability to make any vegetation grow "super fast." He uses these plants to surround opponents, entangle enemies in clinging vines, and to force open physical barriers. Ral often carries seeds with him in order to use his power, however, no vegetable matter he affects has any more than ordinary properties.
