Lady Lunar

Lady Lunar laughs at Superman and Batman. Art by Rich Buckler and Bob Smith, 1980/1981.

A female villain with powers and a costume similar to those of Brice Rogers, the Moon Man. A lunar exhibit at S.T.A.R. Labs in Metropolis is attacked by Lady Lunar shortly after Clark Kent conducts a television interview with S.T.A.R.'s Dr. Jenet Klyburn and Bruce Wayne, who is helping to fund the exhibit through his Wayne Foundation. Kent and Wayne battle Lady Lunar in their respective identities of Superman and Batman. Lady Lunar defeats the World's Finest Team by using energy blasts similar to Kryptonite against the Man of Steel, and gravity blasts against the Caped Crusader. After several other attacks, the heroes suspect Dr. Klyburn of being Lady Lunar. The villainess turns out to be amnesiac astronaut trainee Stacy Macklin, an associate of Wonder Woman (WF No. 266, Dec 1980/Jan 1981: "The Last Laugh of Lady Lunar!").
