The Thinker (1954), not to be confused with the super criminal The Thinker (1944), was the “big brain of gangdom,” and the leader of a gang of criminals who kidnap Jimmy Olsen in November 1954 and replace him with a hoodlum look-alike named Baby-Face in the hope that the impersonation will enable them to obtain valuable information they can turn to their advantage. While impersonating Olsen, Baby-Face stumbles upon evidence indicating Clark Kent is Superman, but Superman apprehends "The Thinker" and his henchman and, through a ruse, convinces them that their evidence is inauthentic (S No. 93: "Jimmy Olsen's Double!").
