The parents of Daily Planet reporter Lois Lane and her younger sister, Lucy Lane. The elder Lanes raise horses in their home outside Pittsdale, Iowa (SGLL No. 13/1, Nov 1959: "Introducing...Lois Lane's Parents"; and others).
