Velvet O'Mara
An unscrupulous villainess and one-time member of the Anti-Superman Gang who steals Lana Lang's Insect Queen ring and transforms into ultra-powerful Kryptonian insects in order to challenge Superman. Lois Lane, who had been using Lana's ring to perform heroic feats (under the name "Bug-Belle"), and Lana aid the Man of Tomorrow by wresting the "bio-ring" from O'Mara's possession (SGLL No. 69/1, Oct 1966: "Beware of the Bug-Belle!").
