KUM-BAK KOMEDY FILMS
A film company formed by J. Wilbur Wolfingham in January-February 1944, ostensibly for the purpose of enabling a group of old-time silent-movie comedians to stage a comeback, but in reality to enable Wolfingharn to defraud the old-timers of their life savings. Wolfingham’s scheme is thwarted by Superman (S No. 26/2: “Comedians’ Holiday!â€).
