The Whirlicane

"Master of Wind and Hurricane!"

Emilio Storm, a criminal with a costume that gives him the power to generate whirlwinds by spinning very fast, is the Whirlicane. He proves to be not especially formidable and is defeated by Superman at the same time Superman is carrying Pete Ross's sick son Jonathan Ross with him in order to prove that Clark Kent is indeed his secret identity (Act No. 457, Mar 1976: "Superman, You're Not Clark Kent -- and I Can Prove It!").

The Whirlicane appears again, confronting Superman with the robotic Thunder and Lightning, and though this threat is more serious, the Whirlicane and his android are destroyed (S No. 303, Sep 1976: "When Lightning Strikes, Thunder Kills!").
