Suggestions
Possibly you are not aware, but it is possible to edit the side "navigation" toolbar. Just go here: MediaWiki:Sidebar. I think you have to have admin priviledges though. For help on how to edit, look here. But, for example I see that you are only using the community portal page to forward people to the forum. You could delete it and replace with this:
** https://www.supermanthroughtheages.com/phpBB2/viewforum.php?f=22 |Forum
and that's pretty much how it works.
The look
I put the original look back in place. Anyone find it too wide for their screen? A'dam'mkent 3272
It just slightly runs off my laptop screen (no text is lost). But, I kept my Macintosh "Dock" on the left of my screen rather than the bottom, it's more like the old "Finder" that way. Most people probably don't do that.
Can the featured article box be slightly narrower? (or Bill's old logo be slightly smaller?) It sort of drags the eye to that side of the screen since the text below stops much shorter to the right. Also, I'm assuming large pictures that can no longer be made into thumbnails will be too big for the featured article now? --MatterEaterLad 22:19, 25 September 2008 (UTC)
There is a smaller version of Bill's logo around which I'm still considering digging up. How do you guys find it now - with a horizontal division instead of vertical? A'dam'mkent 3272 04:25, 27 September 2008 (UTC)
Well, it works when the featured article has a strongly horizontal image. --MatterEaterLad 04:40, 27 September 2008 (UTC)
