The Man with the Cane

A cunning Axis agent, clad in a false-face mask, maroon tailcoat, and top hat, whose name derives from his ever present cane, which fires deadly poisoned darts. He is in reality Jim Mason, a patient feigning total paralysis at Bryant Hospital. After making a series of unsuccessful attempts to obtain the plans for a top secret new “tank-plane” developed by inventor John Fleming, the Man with the Cane and his cohorts are finally apprehended by Superman and inventor Fleming in September-October 1942 (S No. 18/3: “The Man with the Cane”).
