Gotham City is the home of its resident protectors and superheroes, Batman and Robin, as well as Commissioner James W. Gordon.
One of the city's noteworthy landmarks is the newspaper The Gotham Gazette, where Daily Planet editor Perry White once worked early in his career (WF No. 80, Jan-Feb 1956: "The Super-Newspaper of Gotham City").
