Cheops
The second Pharoah of the 4th dynasty of Egypt, who reigned ca. 2590-2567 B.C. He is the builder of the Great Pyramid at Giza, the largest single building ever erected in ancient times. It has been calculated that 100,000 men working unceasingly would have required 20 years to complete the task.
