Nimball adopts the Toyman identity when the original Toyman, Winslow Schott, briefly reforms (Act No. 432, Feb 1974: "Target of the Toymen!").
When Schott returns to villainy, he reclaims the Toyman name by murdering Jack Nimball (S No. 305, Nov 1976: "The Man Who Toyed with Death!").
