The Outsiders
Following his split from the Justice League of America over the team's refusal to rescue his kidnapped friend Lucius Fox from the European nation of Markovia, Batman forms a new team of superheroes made up of the following members:

In July 1985, Batman and the Outsiders are aided by Superman in defeating—and returning to normal—Alfred Pennyworth who has taken up villainous activities as The Outsider (DCCP No. 83: "Shadow of the Outsider").
