The Gambler
A criminal underworld boss, Lucifer Chancel, who bets with fellow underworld mobsters on the outcomes of his crimes. After a string of successful wagers placed after moving his organization to Smallville, Superboy is able to bring an end to his illicit activities after convincing him that his luck has run out (SB No. 140/1, Jul 1967: "The Wizard of Odds!").
