Gaining admission to the Legion of Super-Heroes (he defeats a super-powered robot by transforming his body into an energy-draning compound), Nemesis Kid is found to be working for the alien villains known as the Khunds (Adv No. 347, Aug 1966: "The Traitor's Triumph!").
After being dismissed in disgrace, Hart later becomes a member of Tarik the Mute's original Legion of Super-Villains (Adv No. 372, Sep 1968: "School for Super-Villains!").
