Distant world revolving around a red sun in a galactic system that phases between dimensions, Rokyn is named by its settlers, the enlarged people of Kandor (S No. 338, Aug 1979: "Let My People Grow!"). The planet is colonized and developed as a fully Kryptonian location by its residents. The name is a translation of the kryptonian language and means "gift from god".
