Matter-Eater Lad
"Matter-Eater Lad comes from the planet Bismoll. Gradually, over a period of eons, microbes on that world made all food poisonous. As a result, evolution there transformed the inhabitants so that they could eat anything - glass, metal, chemicals, etc. - without being harmed in the least!"
