The Legion of Super-Pets is the animal branch of the Legion of Super-Heroes, established in 2962 as a part of the Legion Reserve (Adv No.293, Feb 1962: "The Legion of Super-Traitors"). The team's members are: Krypto the Super-Dog, Beppo the Super-Monkey, Comet the Super-Horse, Streaky the Super-Cat, and Proty II (who replaces the original Proty after the latter sacrifices his life for Lightning Lad).
