The Wrecker
The leader of a gang of criminals and savage "dictator of destruction," so named because of the wreckage he causes when he commits his "sensational crimes." After carrying out a series of destructive escapades, however, as when they blow a hole in Empire Dam and flood the valley beneath in order to loot the local bank by submarine, the Wrecker and his henchmen are apprehended by Superman in September-October 1948 (S No. 54/1: "The Wrecker").
