A restaurant for artists in Little Bohemia, "the famed artist's section of Metropolis," which is owned and operated on a nonprofit basis by Sergei, a warm-hearted Russian immigrant whose only goal is to eke out a modest living while feeding the poor artists who have become his friends and companions. "Racketeer night-club owner" Bif Condor attempts to terrorize Sergei into vacating his restaurant so that he can construct a fancy nightclub and gambling casino on the site, but Condor and his henchmen are apprehended by Superman in November 1944 (Act No. 78: "The Chef of Bohemia!").
