The Archer is apprehended by Superman in November-December 1941 (S No. 13/2).
The Archer returned many years later seeking vengence but was apprehended by Superman, Lois Kent, and Jimmy Olsen (SF No. 221/4 Aug 1982: "Arrows of Vengeance").
