Moximus
A magician buried in the ancient ash of Pompeii, Moximus comes back to life in the 20th century and uses his considerable powers to incorporate Superman into a weapon that will destroy Metropolis - just as Moximus's ancient Roman city was almost 2,000 years in the past (S No. 343, Jan 1980: "The Last Days of Metropolis!").
