George Reeves was an American actor, best known for playing the role of Superman primarily on television in the 1950's on the show Adventures of Superman.
In the year 2230, a film reel of the famous TV show from Earth-Prime is shown by a group of archaeologists on a "Galaxy News" broadcast to prove that Superman was in fact Clark Kent, not Morgan Edge or Bruce Wayne as it was generally accepted before (S No. 400, Oct 1984: ""The Legend From Earth Prime!")
