Professor Vance
Inventor of a serum composed of vitamins and isotopes resembling kryptonite, Vance intends his creation to extend life. However, as Clark Kent finds out, it actually temporarily ages those that drink it. Clark suspends his activities as Superman because he is bearded and enfeebled, but does manage to convince a criminal known as the Clock that he is "father time" come to exact vengeance. The effects of Professor Vance's serum wear off in 72 hours (Act No. 251, Apr 1959: "The Oldest Man in Metropolis!").
