Perry Como

A famous popular singer and entertainer who visits Metropolis in November-December 1950 to do a series of radio broadcasts. Complications arise for Superman when Lois Lane falls head over heels in love with the handsome singer and when, soon afterward, she and Como are abducted by a gang of criminals. Ultimately, however, through the resourcefulness of Perry Como and the heroism of Superman, both Como and Lane are rescued from the gangsters' clutches and Lois abandons her short-lived crush on Como in favor of her long-held infatuation with Superman (S No. 67/1: "Perry Como, I Love You!").
