A costumed crime-fighter and valued ally of Batman and Robin, the Dynamic Duo. Batgirl is secretly Barbara Gordon, daughter of Gotham City Police Commisssioner James W. Gordon. Supergirl is a close friend of Batgirl. Batgirl should not be confused with Bat-Girl (Betty Kane). First Appearance: Detective Comics No. 359/1, Jan 1967: "The Million Dollar Debut of Batgirl!"
