Al Capone

A United States gangster and murderer who rose through the ranks of the underworld to become the undisputed crime czar of Prohibition-era Chicago. Convicted of income tax evasion in 1031, he spent eight years in Federal prisons and died eight years following his release, at Palm Island, Florida, in 1947.
