A young aeronautical engineer who has developed a radically new type of jet transport, a modification of a conventional jet plane embodying "startling improvements that will revolutionize air transport!" When racketeer and rival airplane manufacturer Loops Logan attempts to murder Minton and sabotage his aircraft to prevent him from winning a sorely needed contract and financial backing, Superman intervenes repeatedly to rescue Minton, who ultimately apprehends Logan on his own and gains the financial aid he needs (WF No. 21, Mar/Apr 1946;" The Plane of Tomorrow!").
