John Wilkes Booth
An American actor who was most famous for assassinating Abraham Lincoln. Due to the interference of an adult Lex Luthor, Superboy fails in his attempt to prevent Booth's assassination of Lincoln during a time-trip to 1865. Neither Superboy nor Luthor actually encounter either man in the course of these events (SB No. 85/2, Dec 1960: "The Impossible Mission!").
(Note: On the parallel world of Earth-3, John Wilkes Booth was the President of the United States assassinated by actor Abraham Lincoln.
