The international squadron of fighter pilots assembled during World War II to battle the Axis powers and other evildoers (first appearance: Military Comics #1, Aug 1941). Superman teams with the Blackhawks when he travels back in time to June 1940 to discover why Perry White doesn't remember receiving an award for a story titled "Hitler's Secret Olympics." Under the alias of Jonathan Clinton, Clark Kent helps White get his story. As Superman, helps the Blackhawks to put an end to Adolf Hitler's scheme, which involves the kidnapping of Albert Einstein (DCCP No. 69, May 1984: "Back to World War II").
