Rovos
An emotionally-stunted young life created by a disembodied race known as the Dyrlians so that they can experience long-lost emotions vicariously. Superman battles re-creations of two of his greatest enemies (the Galactic Golem and Parasite) in order that the alien child be exposed to raw feeling. As these adventures unfold, Superman and Supergirl feel a bond with the young avatar, even as they realize that he is but an element in an alien people's agenda of existence (Act No. 502, Dec 1979: "Fall and Rise of the Star-Child!").
