The Musketeer
A French crime-fighter whose methods and techniques are modeled after those of America's Batman (first appearance: Detective Comics No. 215, Jan 1955: "The Batmen of All Nations!"). In July-August 1957, the Musketeer visits the United States in response to a summons from "well-known philanthropist" John Mayhew, who wishes to award the Musketeer and other world-famous crime-fighters, including Batman and Robin, Superman, the Gaucho, the Legionary, and the Knight and the Squire, charter membership in his newly formed Club of Heroes (WF No. 89: "The Club of Heroes!").
