The adoptive parents of the Superman of Earth-2. This middle-aged couple found the rocket carrying baby Kal-L of Earth-2 ca. 1917, and raised the infant Kryptonian as their own, naming him Clark (NSB No. 15/2, Mar 1981: "Superboy Meets Clark Kent"). Upon their deaths ca. 1938, Clark Kent of Earth-2 moved to Metropolis and was hired by editor George Taylor of the Daily Star.
