Johnny Adonis

Superman's Girl Friend Lois Lane No. 105, Lois and Johnny Adonis

A criminal with a heart for fair play, he once saves Lois Lane's life. In order to show her respect for Adonis, who is convicted of murder and sentenced to die in the electric chair, Lois agrees to marry him just before his execution. Johnny Adonis manages to escape with the help of fellow gang members and the marriage is prolonged. However, he dies defending Lois from the murderous intent of his cronies in crime (SGLL No. 105, Oct 1970: "Death House Honeymoon!").
