Rip Hunter
Known as the "Time Master", Rip Hunter is the inventor of the amazing Time Sphere and an adventurer of the past and future (first documented in Showcase No. 20, May/Jun 1959: "Prisoners of 100 Million B.C.!"). Many years after his sensational original exploits he meets Superman when he joins the Forgotten Heroes (for example, Act No. 552, Feb 1984: "Another Time! Another Death!"; Act No. 553, Mar 1984: "The World at Time's End").
