Dr. Dorrow
A "shady scientist," just released from prison, "whose twisted genius has led him along the path of crime.' In January 1951, after having promised to rid the underworld of Superman for a fee of $1,000,000, Dr. Dorrow traps both Superman and Lois Lane in transparent cylinders filled with 'suspended animation gas" and catapults them into outer space in the direction of Venus, but the cylinders are soon extracted by Venusians from a muddy Venusian bog and Superman returns to Earth with Lois to apprehend Dr. Dorrow and his gangland cohorts (Act No. 152: "The Sleep That Lasted 1000 Years").
