The Earl of Wordenshire

The British nobleman who is secretly the Knight (first appearance: Batman No. 62, Dec 1950/Jan 1951: "The Batman of England!"). In July-August 1957, the Earl and his son Cyril—alias the Squire—are invited alongside such crimefighters as Batman and Robin, Superman, the Gaucho, the Legionary and the Musketeer to become charter members of philanthropist John Mayhew's Club of Heroes (WF No. 89: "The Club of Heroes!").
