The Metropolis-based television station owned by Morgan Edge's media conglomerate, Galaxy Communications. Among its hundreds of workers, WGBS has employed at various times Clark Kent as anchorman, Lana Lang, Steve Lombard, and Jimmy Olsen (S No. 233, Jan 1971: "Superman Breaks Loose"; and many others).
