Dev-Re

The wheelchair-bound Kandorian scientist who is a friend to Superman and Jimmy Olsen and shares the secret of their identities of Nightwing and Flamebird.

In October-November 1975, Dev-Re relates how he accidentally discovered the Nightcave "just before the area was to be excavated for construction" and transported the cave's equipment, including the Nightmobile, to his home in Kandor (SF No. 173/1: "Menace of the Micro-Monster").

Dev-Re is the father of Sarna.
