Evelyn Curry
An innocent young woman, about to be executed for a murder she did not commit, who is rescued from the electric chair within moments of her execution when Superman, having apprehended the real murderess less than thirty minutes before, barges into the governor's home just before midnight and gets him to put through a life-saving call to the death house (Act No. 1, Jun 1938).
