Terry Curtis
A brilliant young scientist who, "for some time," has "been on the track of harnessing atomic energy." In Curtis's words, "It looks like I'm upon the point of discovering a weapon that could destroy any matter it was leveled at!" Terry Curtis is kidnapped by the Ultra-Humanite in February 1940 and forced to construct a diabolical "atomic-disintegrator" with which the villain intends to blackmail Metropolis (Act No. 21). (TGSB)
